A blog post from a missionary in Sendai

Here is a blog post by a missionary in Sendai (not an OMF missionary). Giving an even closer view of the tragedy. I was surprised to hear that they had some water and electricity in their area.

Thanks for all your updates. I don't know how large your blog readership is...I imagine reasonably big. But don't be discouraged by the lack of comments to your posts. Your posts are greatly appreciated, provide fuel for prayer and are helpful. I imagine many, like me, hardly know what to say. Many will be in direct contact I imagine. But please don't be discouraged by the silence here. Keep blogging as you feel able and want to.

It is good that you are working at making things as normal as possible for your boys. This seems to be the advice in such situations...although none of us, in our generation, have experienced or known anything so big.

And we all keep praying.

I'm not discouraged by the lack of comments. It is pretty hard to discourage me from communicating - I'm a big incorrigible on that front. Actually many of the people reading my blog at the moment also have our email address or we're in contact on Facebook and I can tell you we're getting plenty of emails and Facebook comments.

Keep praying. It can be hard to keep things normal for the boys when we're feeling stressed inside. My feelings of stress are going up and down quite a bit at present.
