A year ago we bought a map that may freak you out. It has certainly been a point of interest in our house in the last few days. We've laminated it and put it up in our lounge room.
That's right, a map that puts the southern hemisphere on top. I love maps!
I examined it with the boys and we realised it really isn't very accurate (see this funny clip from the West Wing to explain one inaccuracy). The other inaccuracy is that there are bits of sea missing right around the edge, including a slice of the Atlantic Ocean!
However, it should prove to be an interesting point of discussion. It's interesting how Europe and the UK just get swallowed up.
